Privacy Policy — UnifyMe Home Automation
Last updated: February 18, 2026
UnifyMe Home Automation (ABN 33 754 728 095) ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit our website, make a purchase, or use our services.
We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@unifyme.com.au.
1. Your Home Automation Data
UnifyMe provides smart home hardware kits and setup support. We want to be clear about something important: we do not collect or store the video, audio, or sensor data captured by your smart home devices.
Your devices are configured to store data according to your own preferences. When setting up your system, you choose from the following options:
- Local storage only — footage and sensor data are saved to storage you control (such as a local hard drive or NAS), and never transmitted to us or any cloud service.
- Cloud storage — footage is sent to a third-party cloud provider of your choosing (such as Google Drive or a compatible cloud service). In this case, that provider's privacy policy governs how your data is handled. We do not have access to it.
- No storage — your system operates in real-time without retaining footage or sensor data.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party cloud provider you choose to use.
2. Personal Information We Collect
When you interact with our store or services, we may collect the following personal information:
Contact and account details — your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.

Order and transaction information — products purchased, order history, returns, and related communications.
Communications — messages you send us via email or support channels, including customer support enquiries.
Device and usage information — your IP address, browser type, pages visited on our website, and how you interact with our store. This is collected automatically via Shopify and analytics tools.
